Aerosmith is an American rock band formed in Boston in 1970. Its current members include Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer and Brad Whitford.

The Aerosmith logo, as seen on the cover artwork of their 1987 album Permanent Vacation, is a mixture of several symbols. The wings symbol represent freedom and movement; the circled letter A in the center is a symbol of anarchy; the band name written in psychedelic style is a tie-in to the band’s early roots.

A font called Aero Font One designed by Steve Ferrera is very similar to the lettering used in the Aerosmith logo. The font is available in both capital and lowercase letters and the numbers will produce Aerosmith logos. You can download the font for free here.
