Atari Font

About Atari Font

Atari is a video games company originally founded by Ted Dabney and Nolan Bushnell. It is widely considered as the pioneer in arcade games, home video game consoles.

The Atari logo, also known as the “Fuji” logo (as it resembles the Japanese Mountain Fuji), was designed by George Opperman. The logo was designed in a way that the overall silhouette looked like the letter “A”, the initial of the company name, and the three “prongs” represented the Atari’s popular game, Pong. Beneath it is the Atari logotype and the lettering is very similar to a font called SF Atarian System by ShyFoundry. You can download the font for free here.
