Backpacker (Magazine) Font

Backpacker Magazine is an American publication that features information on wilderness hiking and adventure as well as other outdoor sports, including rock climbing, mountain biking, trail running, cycling, fly fishing and more. It has been published since 1973.

The font used for the Backpacker logo is very similar to Univers Condensed Bold except for the letter “R” in the logo, which has a straight leg rather than a curved one. For the sturdy sans serif used for the headline text on the cover above, it is Antenna designed by Cyrus Highsmith.
