Canon is a Japanese company that is specialized in manufacturing products like cameras, camcorders, photocopiers and computer printers etc. The company was founded in 1937 and now it is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

Canon was originally named Kwanon, known in Japan as the Buddhist Bodhisattva Guan Yin. That is why the first of its logo is an image of “Kwanon with 1000 arms and flames”. Today the distinctive Canon logo with its vivid red color is familiar to people around the world. The current logo is simply a customized logotype. But a font called Canon created by Legba is very close to its lettering and probably help you produce text of similar look. You can download the font for free here.
