Coral Glynn is a novel by Peter Cameron, focusing on the story of the eponymous leroine, Coral, a nurse who was sent to Hart House in 1950 to tend the dying Mrs. Hart.

The font used on the cover is probably Mona Lisa Solid designed in 1991 by Pat Hickson based on the 1930 design of Albert Auspurg for the German Ludwig & Mayer foundry. More details about the typeface can be found here.
