About Land Rover Font

Land Rover is a British automaker founded in 1978. It is one of the oldest four-wheel-drive car brand in the world, just after Jeep.

The Land Rover logo is a green oval with beige letters on it that reads “Land Rover”. It is said that the logo was inspired by a pilchard tin, which left a mark on the designer’s drawing board. The font used in the Land Rover logo is very similar to Gill Sans Bold Italic, which is a commercial font designed by Eric Gill around 1930. The font is available for download and purchase here.
