About Mahjong Font
Mahjong tiles are used to play the game of Mahjong, which originates from ancient China. Generally, a standard set of Mahjong tiles consists of 144 tiles that are based off of various Chinese symbols and characters. All the tiles can be grouped into three categories, they are suit tiles, honor tiles and flower tiles. Suit tiles include 108 tiles with 27 types, so each type has four tiles. 27 types can be divided into 3 categories, the circle suit, the bamboo suit and the character suit. The circle suit is represented by a series of circles ranging from one circle to nine circles； The bamboo suit is represented by outlines of sticks ranging from one to nine except the first, which is represented by a bird；the last one, the character suit is represented by Chinese characters, ranging from ten one to nine. Flower tiles generally include 8 tiles, they are plum, orchid, chrysanthemum, bamboo, spring, summer, autumn and winter. Honor tiles include 28 tiles with 8 types, so each type has four tiles. 8 types are east, south, west, north, red, green, white.
