MasterCard Font

MasterCard is an American multinational financial services corporation headquartered in New York, United States.

The font used for the MasterCard logo above is probably Frutiger Next Com Bold. Frutiger Next is a slightly modified and extended version of the original Frutiger sans-serif face, designed by the distinguished typographer Adrian Frutiger in 1976.

Mastercard introduced a new logo in 2016, using a bespoke font called Mark for MC for the wordmark. Mark for MC itself was based on the super sans serif typeface FF Mark. In 2019, the wordmark was removed from the logo, as it was believed that most people could recognize the red/yellow circles without needing the name.
