About Metallica Font

Metallica is an American heavy metal band started in 1981 in Los Angeles, California. The band currently includes the guitarist Kirk Hammett, the bassist Robert Trujillo, the drummer Lars Ulrich and James Hetfeild, the rhythm guitarist and vocalist. The band has sold over 100 million albums over the globe and has won Grammy Awards for 9 times.

The Metallica logo, as seen on the cover artwork of their 1986 single Master of Puppets, is among the most impressive logos for rock bands. It is said that the original Metallica logo was designed by James Hetfield. In the logo, the beginning and ending letter was designed with long and sharp points, while the middle letters were designed with a solid and block appearance. A font known as “Pastor of Muppets” designed by Ray Larbie is very similar to the font used in the latest logo of Metallica.
