Party City is an American retail chain of party supply stores founded in 1986 by Steve Mandell in East Hanover, New Jersey. Based in Elmsford, New York, the company is the largest retailer of party goods in the United States and Canada.

The font used for the logo of Party City is Futura Bold, a very popular geometric sans-serif typeface designed in 1927 by German type designer Paul Renner.
