UPS is short for United Parcel Service, a package delivery company founded in 1907 in Atlanta, GA in United States. The company is now one of the largest package delivering companies in the world.

The UPS logo features a shield with the acronym “UPS” on it. Though UPS logo has been changed for three times since the company was born, the shield theme is kept till today. The latest UPS logo has been in use since 2003. The font used in the logo of UPS is called UPS Sans, which is a commissioned one. The font , however, is similar to a free font called Yanone Kaffeesatz Bold designed by Yanone. The whole Yanone Kaffeesatz font family contains four styles, you can download them for free here.
