Versace Font

About Versace Font

Versace is an Italian fashion company founded by Gianni Versace in 1978 and currently it is one of the world’s most famous international fashion houses.

The logo of Versace features the Medusa head symbol with its logotype beneath it. It is said that the founder of Versace, Gianni Versace, was born in South Italy known as the “Magna Graecia” or the Great Greece in ancient times and Versace had probably taken inspiration from his classical heritage. Therefore, the symbol of Medusa, the goodness in Greek mythology, was used as the logo of Versace.

As for the font used in its logotype below the Medusa symbol, it was probably custom made, but a font called Radiant RR Bold is very similar to its lettering. Radiant RR is a commercial font and you can purchase and download it here.
