About Aardman Font

Aardman font here refers to the font used in the logo of Aardman Animations, which is a British animation studio based in Bristol, United Kingdom.

The logo of Aardman Animations was probably designed based on ITC Franklin Gothic Heavy, a grotesque sans serif originally designed by Morris Fuller Benton for ATF. The ITC version of Franklin Gothic retains the personality and character of the original ATF version, with only a slight increase in x-height and character width.
