About Band of Brothers Font

Band of Brothers is a TV miniseries first aired in 2001. Based on the book of the same name by Stephen E. Ambrose, the series tells the story of the “EASY” company from jump training in the US to the capitulation of Japan till the end of war.

The font used for the title of the TV program is very similar to Compacta (with an extreme eroded effect added) designed by Fred Lambert. The font is available for purchase and download here.

The serif and sans serif used in the opening title sequence are Vendetta by John Downer and Scala Sans by Martin Majoor.
