Ex Machina, stylized as EX_MACHINA, is a 2015 British science fiction thriller film written and directed by Alex Garland.

The font used for the film poster above is Foundry Gridnik Bold. Gridnik is a geometric sans serif typeface developed from the single weight monospaced typeface by Dutch designer Wim Crouwel, who was known as ‘Mr Gridnik’ by his contemporaries because of his devotion to grids and systems and this inspired the name Foundry Gridnik for the typeface family.
