Fairy Tale is a 2022 dark fantasy novel by American author Stephen King. The novel follows Charlie Reade, a 17-year-old who inherits keys to a hidden, otherworldly realm, and finds himself leading the battle between forces of good and evil.

The book title lettering resembles a pre-digital typeface called Hamlet. The typeface was designed by Edward Johnston and cut in three sizes by Edward Prince for William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, which was published by Harry Kessler’s Cranach Press in Weimar in 1929. Digital revivals include HamletOrNot by Manfred Klein & CybaPee, and Hamlet by ANRT.
