Frances Ha is a 2012 American black and white comedy-drama film directed by Noah Baumbach.

The font used for the film title on the poster is very similar to Fairfield, which is an old-style serif typeface designed by Rudolf Ruzicka in 1940. Fanwood by Barry Schwartz is an open-source interpretation of the typeface. You can download its four styles here.
