Friday: The Animated Series is an 8-episode animated television series based on the Friday film series. The show is directed by Kevin Lofton and is co-produced and co-distributed by New Line Television, MTV2, and Ice Cube’s Cubevision.

The font used for the logo of the animated TV series is Spumoni. Designed by Garret Boge, Spumoni is a bouncy, energetic headline font that is reminiscent of a number of poster lettering designs of the 1940s, all loosely based on the popular Bodoni faces.
