About Gone with the Wind Font

Gone-with-the-Wind-Movie-Poster

Gone with the Wind is a 1939 American epic-historical-romance film adapted from Margaret Mitchell’s Pulitzer-winning 1936 novel. Set against the backdrop of the American Civil War and Reconstruction era, the film tells the story of Scarlett O’Hara, the strong-willed daughter of a Georgia plantation owner, from her romantic pursuit of Ashley Wilkes to her marriage to Rhett Butler.

The film title in the poster features a western style slab serif, which is very similar to Egyptian ExtraBold Condensed designed by Jordan Davies, or IFC Insane Rodeo designed by Anton Krylov. You can download IFC Insane Rodeo for free here. For the starring credits text at the bottom of the poster, it is very similar to Romantica from Cruz Fonts.
