Jaguar a British luxury and sports car company founded as the Swallow Sidecar Company by Sir William Lyons in 1922.
The Jaguar logo above, which was in use between 1945 and 2001, consists of a leaping Jaguar and the wordmark below it. The leaping Jaguar symbolizes the speed, power and quickness of the car and the font used for the wordmark is similar to Jaguar JC, a free font with three styles, namely, Jaguar JC Book, Jaguar JC Book Italic and Jaguar JC Book Bold. You can download the font for free here.
Its current logo, introduced in 2012, features a metallic fill and shadow icon, and a proprietary font designed by Fontsmith.
