Mako: Island of Secrets, internationally known as Mako Mermaids, is an Australian TV series that follows Zac, a teenage boy who turns into a merman after accidentally falling into a magical pool of water on the fictional island of Mako.

The logo of the TV series was probably made from Argos George, which is an Art Nouveau typeface created by Dieter Steffmann and is a revival of Argos typeface designed by Belgian designer Georges Lemmen in 1908.
