The above is the primary logo for Oasis, the English rock band formed in Manchester in 1991. The logo features the band name in a sans serif font against a bordered black rectangle. The font used is Helvetica Black Oblique.  The logo can be seen on the group’s early releases, such as Definitely Maybe, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, Be Here Now etc.

The fourth studio album, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants, saw an outlined logo and A fan made font named Oasis is very similar to it, you can download it for free here.

The logo for the cover of the fifth album, Heathen Chemistry,  used the same font, with letters inside the classic bordered rectangle.

A logo that is very similar to the early rectangle logo featuring Helvetica typeface, as seen on the cover of 2005 album, Don’t Believe the Truth.
