Only Lovers Left Alive is a 2013 internationally co-produced vampire film written and directed by Jim Jarmusch. The title pays tribute to Dave Wallis’ science fiction novel of the same name from 1964 by Dave Wallis.

The font used for the film title in the poster is FF Brokenscript, which is a blackletter designed by Just van Rossum. This modernized blackletter feels very contemporary and cool rather than medieval and morbid. The font has four variations, FF Brokenscript and FF Brokenscript Rough, each with a condensed version.
