Ranger Rick is a children’s nature magazine first published in 1967 and it aims to instill children’s passion for nature and promote outdoor activity.

The font used for the Ranger Rick logo is probably Tekton. Designed by David Siegel in 1989, Tekton is based on the hand lettering of West Coast architect Frank Ching, who wrote out the text for his books. More details about the typeface can be found here.
