Reddit is a social news aggregation, content rating, and discussion website founded by University of Virginia roommates Steve Huffman, Alexis Ohanian, and Aaron Swartz in 2005.

The company unveiled a new logo on November 29, 2023. The new logo, made by Pentagram, consists of a stylized Snoo head contained within a conversation bubble, and a refreshed wordmark replacing its old VAG Rounded based wordmark.

The new wordmark was derived from Reddit Sans, which is an open source sans serif released by the company earlier. The counters of the lowercase d in the wordmark were integrated with conversation bubbles to echo the core of the brand. A full-fledged font based on the wordmark called Reddit Display was designed to incorporate the conversation bubbles to all applicable letters.

Among the various flavors and styles of Reddit Sans, Reddit Sans Chocolate Extra Bold is probably the closest to Reddit Display. You can download the font here or get the latest version from official microsite.
