About Sherlock Font

Sherlock font here refers to the font used in the title of Sherlock, which is a British television crime drama that presents a contemporary adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes detective stories. The show was first aired on BBC One and BBC HD in July, 2010.

The Sherlock show logo features the “SHERLOCK” text in all capital letters in a distressed sans serif. The design is probably based on P22 Johnston Underground. As the name suggests, the typeface was developed for the London Underground system in 1916. There is also a font named I Am Sherlocked that imitates the lettering style of the logo. You can use it to produce the logo directly, download it for free here.
