About Subway Font

Subway is an American restaurant chain that mainly sells submarine sandwiches as their core product. Besides, wraps and salad and baked food are also served.

The Subway logo above was designed based on Helvetica Neue Black Condensed but a font called Subway designed by Sharkshock was created to imitate the lettering of the logotype. The font is available for free download here.

Update: Subway introduced a new logo in 2016. It is the first time that the sandwich chain has significantly changed the major element of its identity since 2001. While the old logo utilized a bold, thick font, the new logo is more minimalist. The signature arrows on the “S” and “Y,” however, will remain. The closest font we can find for the new logo is Unisect Black from YWFT.
