Dr. Dre is an American hip hop recording artist and record producer. The Chronic is the debut studio album by Dr. Dre. It was released on December 15, 1992, by his own record label Death Row Records and distributed by Priority Records.

Two fonts have been used in the album coverart: the font used for the artist name is very similar to Let Me Ride by Måns Grebäck while the album title is set in a geometric sans serif named Futura Medium Condensed by Paul Renner.
