The Hateful Eight is a 2015 American mystery Western film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. The film is set some years after the Civil War in Wyoming, and revolves around eight strangers who seek refuge in a stagecoach stopover on a mountain pass during a blizzard.

The font used for the film title in the poster is very similar to Stymie Extra Bold. American type designer Morris Fuller Benton created this geometric slab serif typeface for the American Type Founders in 1931. You can preview the Stymie Extra Bold font here.
