About The New Yorker Font

The New Yorker is an American magazine of reportage, commentary, criticism, essays, fiction etc. It was first started in 1925.

The font used for the New Yorker magazine logo is very similar to New Yorker Type. Designed by Gert Wiescher, New Yorker Type is in turn a revival of the New Yorker magazine logotype. The typeface is available in two weights and you can purchase it here.
