About BSAC Logo Font

bsac logo

The British Sub-Aqua Club, or BSAC, is the governing body for the sport of scuba diving in the UK. It is a club-based organisation that operates through its associated network of local and independent diving clubs and diving schools worldwide.

The BSAC logo features the graphics of the Roman god Neptune (god of the sea), with the “BSAC” text set in an italicized sans serif font, which is very similar to ITC Eras Bold. Designed by French designers Albert Boton and Albert Hollenstein, Eras is a typical sans serif typeface distinguished by its unusual slight forward slant and subtle variations in stroke weight.
