Cash Cab is an American game show broadcast on Discovery Channel.

The title of the game show was probably designed based on Monotype Grotesque Black. Designed by Frank Hinman Pierpont, Monotype Grotesque is a realist sans serif typeface based on Ideal, an earlier sans serif designed by the H. Berthold AG foundry and William Thorowogood’s 1832 face titled “Grotesque.” You can view more details about it here.
