The Cheesecake Factory is a distributor of cheesecakes and restaurant company based in the United States. David M. Overton, the company’s founder, opened the first Cheesecake Factory restaurant in Beverly Hills, California, in 1978.

The logo of the Cheesecake Factory was probably designed based on Windsor Bold. Designed by Stephenson Blake in 1905, Windsor is a friendly fat face with heavy rounded serifs and strong diagonal stress.
