About Colors (magazine) Font

Colors is a quarterly magazine founded in 1991. Every issue of the magazine takes a single theme and covers it from an international perspective. The latest issue was published in June, 2014, yet there is no official statement about its discontinuation.

Three typefaces have been used by the magazine for their logo since their debut. Geometric 415 by William Addison Dwiggins is likely the first type used for their logos of the first five issues. Starting from issue #6, they used Nobel Bold by Font Bureau until issue #60. After that, they have been using the Gotham Bold till the latest issue as shown above.
