Disturbia is a 2007 American horror thriller film directed by D. J. Caruso. Partly inspired by Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window, The film follows a teenager who is placed on house arrest and begins to spy on his neighbors, thinking one of them is a serial killer.

The font used for the film title in the poster is OCR A. The mono-spaced sans serif arose in the early days of computer optical character recognition when there was a need for a font that could be recognized not only by the computers of that day, but also by humans. OCR-A uses simple, thick strokes to form recognizable characters.
