Inuyasha is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. The series was adapted into two anime television series produced by Sunrise later. Viz Media licensed the manga and the two anime series for North America.

The font used for the title of the anime series on the poster is Serpentine Bold Oblique. Serpentine is a contemporary-looking display font designed by Dick Jensen for the Visual Graphics Corporation in 1972.
