About Lady Bird Font

Lady Bird is a 2017 American comedy-drama film about the story of a high-school senior and her turbulent relationship with her mother.

The font used for the film title on the poster is Amador, a blackletter designed in 2004 by Jim Parkinson. Amador is reminiscent of the blackletter designs of Frederic Goudy and Rudolf Koch, as well as popular revivals such as Cloister Black and Engraver’s Old English.
