Nike Font

About Nike Font

Nike is a sportswear and equipment company based in USA. It is now the world’s largest supplier of athletic shoes and apparel as well as other sports equipment. The brand name “Nike” is said to be taken from Greek, meaning the Greek goddess of Victory.

The Nike logo, also known as the “Swoosh”, was designed by a graphic student Carolyn Davidson in 1971. The font used for the “NIKE” lettering appearing above the swoosh looks like an italicized Impact, a sans serif typeface created by Geoffrey Lee in 1965. Impact is available as a commercial typeface and you can purchase it here.
