Riverdale is an American teen drama television series based on the characters by Archie Comics. The series premiered on January 26, 2017 via the CW.

The title of the TV show in the poster was probably designed based on the font Colossalis by Aldo Novarese. The slab serif features slightly narrow widths with flattened outer contours. The typeface comes in four weights, regular, medium, bold and black. It is a display font recommended for attention-grabbing headlines and advertising.
