ROTO ROOTER FONT

Roto-Rooter is a United States company founded in 1935 which originally specialized in clearing tree roots and other obstructions from sewer lines. Today it provides plumbing repair, sewer & drain and water cleanup services to residential and commercial customers.

The font used for the logo of the company is Folio ExtraBold (manually italicized). Folio is a grotesque sans serif designed by Konrad F. Bauer and Walter Baum for the Bauer font foundry (Bauersche Gießerei) in 1957. The designers based their ideas on Helvetica.
