Science News Font

Science News is an American bi-weekly magazine devoted to short articles about new scientific and technical developments and it was first issued in 1922.

The font used for the “SN” logo on the cover is probably Kievit Medium. Designed by Michael Abbink in 2011, Kievit is a contemporary sans serif design that was inspired by the clarity of classic sans serif faces like Frutiger and Univers and the humanistic characteristics of old styles like Garamond.
