The Mayhem Ball Font

The Mayhem Ball is the eighth concert tour by Lady Gaga. On March 26, 2025, she announced the Mayhem Ball concert tour through her Instagram account.

The typography of the tour poster above combines Laura Worthington’s rough script typeface called Origins Regular with Grilli Type’s GT America Expanded Black.

GT America is a super sans serif originally released in 2016 with 84 styles. Over the years, it has been expanded to cover non-Latin scripts including Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic, Devanagari, Hebrew, Korean, and Thai. Check out its dedicated site here.

Update: On July 9, a new gothic dream inspired poster for the tour was revealed. This time, the fonts in use include Meie Script, Cormorant Garamond and Maximilian. WF Maximilian Gotisch from Walden Font Co., Maximilian from Dieter Steffmann and Gothicus from Aerotype are all digital revivals of Maximilian originally released by Rudolf Koch.
