Time Bandits Font

Time Bandits is a 1981 British fantasy film that tells the story of a young boy named Kevin, who goes on an adventure through space and time with six dwarves.

The font used for the film title on the poster is very similar to Pacioli. Matt Desmond designed the font based on an alphabet in a book published by Luca Pacioli. In the book, Pacioli describes how to build the Roman alphabet geometrically using lines, squares and circles. The uppercase letters in the font have the geometric grids for making the alphabets while the lowercase are pure letters without grids.
