Toast of London is a British comedy television series broadcast on Channel 4. It tells the story of Steven Toast, an eccentric actor with a chequered past who spends more time dealing with his problems off stage than performing on it.

The font used for the title of the TV series is ITC Avant Garde Gothic Medium. ITC Avant Garde Gothic was designed by Herb Lubalin and Tom Carnase in 1970. The geometric sans serif was based on the logo Lubalin created for a magazine called Avant Garde.
