Windows 10 is a personal computer operating system released by Microsoft as part of the Windows NT family of operating systems. It was officially unveiled in September 2014 and released to customers on July 29, 2015.

The font used for the logo of Windows 10 is Segoe UI (New Version). Designed by American type designer Steve Matteson, Segoe UI is a humanist sans serif typeface and a member of the Segoe font family used in Microsoft products for user interface text.

The Light and Semibold versions of Segoe UI were bundled with Windows 7. In Windows 8, however, Segoe UI has undergone a number of changes and stylistic additions. The image below shows some notable differences between the old (Windows 7) and the new (Windows 8) version of Segoe UI.
