Viacom Inc. was an American media conglomerate. During the 1970s and 1980s, Viacom was a distributor of CBS television series for syndication, including such shows as I Love Lucy, The Twilight Zone and All in the Family. On December 31, 2005, this corporate entity changed its name to CBS Corporation.

The Viacom logo is very similar to a font named Viafont, which is a geometric sans-serif font that was created by JHL Fonts to resemble the Viacom logo. The font is free for both personal and commercial use. You can download it for free here.

For the logo of new Viacom, the spin-off from CBS Corporation on December 31, 2005, it was probably designed based on Handel Gothic.
