About Burger King Font

Burger King is a chain of hamburger fast food restaurants. Previously started as Insta-Burger King in Jacksonville, Florida in 1953, the company was renamed as Burger King in 1955 as it was purchased by David Edgerton and James McLamore. The signature food of Burger King is its Whopper sandwich.

The Burger King logo was designed with a slanted circle with bun halves on two sides. The title “Burger King” is very similar to Insaniburger font family designed by Adam Nerland. The font family includes “Insaniburger Regular” and “Insaniburger with Cheese”, respectively based on the old Burger King logo (1994-1999) and the current Burger King logo (1999-2021). You can download them for free here.

Update: In December 2020, Burger King started making a comprehensive rebrand, updating their logo, packaging, menus, uniforms, etc. They also started using a new proprietary typeface called Flame throughout its website, menus and promotional materials. Colophon Foundry developed Flame in two weights, Bold and Regular, and Flame Sans in a single Regular weight.
