Downton Abbey is a British period drama television series first aired on ITV in 2010. The series depicts the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants in the post-Edwardian era.

The font used for the title of the series is very similar to Adobe Caslon Regular Small Caps designed by Carol Twombly based on the design of William Caslon I. The font is a commercial one and you can view more details about it here.
