EMC Font

About EMC Font

EMC Corporation is an American multinational corporation headquartered in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, United States. On September 7, 2017, Dell announced completion of the acquisition of EMC Corporation.

The original EMC logo features the text “EMC²” in an inscribed serif typeface and it is probably set in Meridien Bold. Designed by Adrian Frutiger in 1957 for the French foundry Deberny & Peignot, Meridien is a typeface with slightly flared stems, and Latinesque spiky serifs. You may view more details about it here.

Upon the acquisition of Dell, a new logo was released accordingly. The wordmark was custom drawn and probably not available as a font.
