Fifty Shades Darker is a 2017 American erotic romantic drama film directed by James Foley and written by Niall Leonard, based on the novel of the same name by E. L. James. It is the sequel to 2015 film Fifty Shades of Grey.

The font used for the film title in the poster is Bauer Bodoni. Bauer Bodoni is Heinrich Jost’s interpretation of the famous Bodoni typefaces, first designed by Giambattista Bodoni in the late eighteenth century. The Bauer version emphasizes the extreme contrast between hairline and main stroke.
